I have been searching for an answer in earlier threads, but couldn't find the answer.
I am trying to get my Nvidia 3d vision (3d gaming) to work on Acer H5360.
Setup is as follows: Gtx 480->Hdmi 1.4 cable->H5360 Hdmi input.
Since I don't have Nvidia 3d emitter, I managed to hack 3dtv play to work without it.
I CAN enable stereoscopic 3d in NVidia control panel. When I launch e.g.
COD: Modern Warfare 3 and enable 3d, it is 720p 120hz and I CAN see that
3d is enabled, as I get overlapping frames. My glasses (sainsonic dlp)
are also flickering, but the problem is: I CAN'T SEE THE BLOODY 3D.
I tried changing projector 3d mode to both DLP and Nvidia; I also tried to use
the 'invert' function. Same **** - even though my glasses are flickering fine,
I see the same overlapping frames in the game and no 3d effect. So basically,
3d vision is working, its just somehow the glasses are not in sync with the game,
although they seem to be working. Latest drivers etc.
Any ideas what could be the problem??? I suppose I can rule out the hdmi cable,
since I can see that the game is being rendered fine in 3d at 720p 120hz.
In nvidia Cpl, stereoscopic display type is '3d vision discover'.
I am going insane, your help would be very much appreciated!!!!!!
Forgot to add: I am using NVidia 3dTV Play. Maybe that's the problem?
On Nvidia Website, it says 3dtv Play can use frame packed, so perhaps
I need frame sequential?
