I am wanting to upgrade to an 1080p 3D projector and am trying to decide between these three:

Benq w1070
Optoma HD131Xe
Acer H6510BD

PQ is of top importance. Everything else is secondary. Which one would you pick?

Where did you see it for $999? Amazon has it listed for close to $2K.
Isn't this the projector with a "dim" picture which can't lit a screen bigger than 90"? My screen is 120"... frown.gif

Are you recommending this projector over the few "budget king" models I listed just because the Mitsubishi has longer warranty or because of better PQ.
if we only compare on PQ (i.e. warranty, lens shift, etc don't matter at all), then which projector of these will have the best image quality?

Get any additional insight?

I'm also looking for a budget 1080p/3D projector. I use mine in a living room and need it to be bright as possible, but have an issue with the W1070 due to throw distances and the complaints about the optics on the HD131xe have me a little worried. The HC7900DW looks like it'd be awesome (I have a HD1000U and would love another Mitsubishi) but doesn't have the brightness I'm looking for.

People who have had lens inssues and sent in there Optoma's have got them back with the focus issue fixed. Also, the 131xe is around $750 and you can buy a squaretrade warranty for 4 years for under $100.

Fair enough, looks like I'll be going that route.
