I've decided it's time for my Panasonic PT-AX200U to be retired. It needs another light bulb so I think that's good enough reason to upgrade.
I need a short throw. The current project is about 13 feet from the wall. Ceiling is 7 feet tall. I'm in a basement with no windows. Projector will be ceiling mounted.
Seems like the BenQ options will be a nice upgrade from what I currently have. HDMI is already wired to the current projector so wiring is not an issue.
Is there a $600 reason to go with the W1500 or is the W1080ST good enough?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I don't think the extra cost for the W1500 is worth it. The BenQ W1070 would likely work for you as well. It is the same as the W1080ST except not as short of a throw, but with a little lens shift and a little less money.
