I am looking to get my first projector... I have narrowed it down somewhat to the Optoma HD25-LV and the Epson 3020. I see there is another thread similar in title to this but not anything in the replies to help me out. Both projectors seem very comparable minus the few 100 dollar price point. Maybe some owners can give me their impressions of their respective units.

I am a gamer. I read that the Epson is about 50ms lag? I have heard the Optoma brand is flawless for gaming but cant find any lag times on the HD25-LV. If anyone knows please let me know.

I have also read that the black tones are handled better with the Optoma however overall colors and picture go to the Epson.

I greatly appreciate the opinions of those who actually own either of the units to sway me in one direction or another.

Also, if their is another projector around this price point that I haven't looked into please let me know.
