AE30000U Bulb needed

Time to change the bulb on my Panasonic AE3000U. I have heard a lot of bad things about some of the replacement bulbs out there and would like to know what brand bulb you recommend using and location to purchase this bulb frome

And your question about brand is key. Always used real parts from Panasonic. Provantage sells real Panasonic parts, but at a great price.

That sounds like the right price for a real Panasonic part. When you find them for less, they are counterfeit parts (not Panasonic). They might work, but if you read other peoples experiences you will find many people who have been ripped off by these counterfeit parts. Sometimes all that happens is that the bulb doesn't last very long. But sometimes they melt parts of the projector, or explode!

Spend the money on the real part (but spend wisely and get the real part for the best price you can).

It will tell you when the bulb needs to be changed. Generally it's around 2,000 hours but is longer if you use econo mode.

Of course, replacing the bulb early will give you a huge increase in brightness. My testing on an AE4000 showed a new bulb was 2 1/2 times brighter than a 2,000 bulb.
