Has anyone had intermittent signal drops with their Optoma UHD60. I have a 30 foot RUIPro Fiberoptic HDMI cable from my Onkyo NR686 and when playing 4k HDR games on my PS4 Pro the screen will intermittently search for a signal. It also takes the project a very long time on boot up to find a signal from any source.

Just getting started building my ManCave and could use all the help I can get.
Gear as follows: Projector: Optoma UHD60, Screen: Carl's place gray screen material 95" diagonal, AVR: Onkyo TX NR686 5.1.2 atmos, Spearkers: Polk Audio, Remote: Logitech Harmony One, Gaming systems: PS4 Pro, Nintendo Switch, HDMI cables: RUIPro Optical cable 33' and Monoprice Certified premium high speed cables.

I had a similar problem last year with my Roku. After trying several different 4k 4.4.4 rated HDMI cables to the AVR, including the Optima HDMI cable that worked flawlessly from my Blue Ray player, I didn't fix the dropout problem until I used this cable: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I'm also using a 30' RUIPro FWIW.

Got my UHD60 back form service.

1) Noise caused by Fan/Color Wheel | Solution: ASSY ENGINE MODULE for 78V | Results: It's a bit quieter and totally fine for watching movies.
2) Firmware upgraded to 15, so far all good.
3) Video image abnormal (this was dead Port 2) | Solution: PCBA SCALER BD FOR UHD60 | Results: Port works perfect now.

So all good! Took about 8-9 days to get it back after they received it from me.

Hi guys!
Lot of time without write and read on this thread.

I have a question: Someone of you is using (or used) Acoustically Transparent Projection Screen with UHD65?
If so, what are your impressions? What brand and model is?

Thank you!

Talking WOW!! What a great projector!!

Greetings!

I just bought the Optoma UHD60. Upgraded from the Optoma HD25 LV. All I can say is WOW!!! What a difference and what an upgrade. The pictures are much sharper and the colours pop!! Whole family is enjoying movie night with renewed vigour. LOL!!!

When the sun shines in the movie you feel like putting on your sunshades. Boy its bright!! :-) Also the detail in the shadows are quite good.

Projector: Optoma UHD 60
Screen: Matte White Wall - 155inch diameter
Receiver: Yamaha RX-V779
Speakers: Yamaha Ceiling speakers NS-IC 800 x 7

By the way, anyone having problems getting 4K HDR from your the Apple TV 4K (or any other device) and through a Yamaha receiver, needs to visit the website below to assist and sort that out without changing cables first. ;-)
