After putting 961 hours on the 2150... I finally have the settings right for viewing TV, blurays, and 4k disc's, Netflix and video games...and thought I would share them for others...

It's a combo of calibration disc's, members settings, online sites, and my personal tastes for my screen and setup...I have a Pulsar 1.4 gain ALR screen from Dark Energy, running it through Panasonic 820 , Darbeevision High-def 80%, and Yamaha 5200...I have had many different settings but now I am happy with the blacks, shadows, colors and now it is set...

Can someone tell me the contrast ratio differences between dynamic, bright cinema and cinema on the 2100 and 2150? Does the iris change the contrast? Thanks.

I'm about to buy the TW5600 (HC2100).

I want to project on a 92" screen, the ceiling will be dark and the walls too.

I'm a little worried about the amount of lumens in this projector, even in cinema and eco mode, and I don't know if the result is going to be good on a 92" screen.

Does anyone have experience with this screen size? Will it be too much light and uncomfortable to see in total darkness?

I don't know a review of the hc2100 with real contrast measurement, only for the hc2150.

Watch this video, in the comments the owner said he kept the hc2100, bit you can ask for more info...

Your screen gain?
Interested in 3d movies, documentaries?

In absence of hypersensitivity or other medical problems, I think it is personal preference, many prefer a less bright cinema experience, others like a big bright tv, afterall one of the latest sony 80" tv is rated 10000 nits!

Hey, just acquired the epson 2100 for my living room which has been outstanding so far. A question I have is when I push the power button twice, there is essentially no cooling down of the lamp and there is no blue standby light on the projector after it shuts down. It shuts it down all the way and super fast. Just wanted to make sure this is normal as I've never seen that on a projector before. Thanks.

It is normal ! However sometimes cooling may take longer, never unplug or turn off the power strip.

Good to hear. I just thought it was weird. Also yes, I have the projector in a ups so I'm good on that. Thanks for the reply.
