No. It is an LED projector. They don't need a color wheel.

Any thoughts on how this would compare to the Epson HC 2150? I was going to get the 2150 but the UHL55 is currently only a little bit more.

Has anyone do a direct comparison with this to the Optoma UHD51A? Which one is better overall for picture quality? For 3D and 4K HDR playback? I need to buy soon. Any help would be appreciated!

Post some test shoots from my phone at here again. They are from an inferior quality ALR screen cloth I just got for try out on these kind of screen, although the screen has some defects the UHL55 did shines with this kind of screen, so potential buyer may consider to get a proper ALR screen for best viewing experience, if your viewing location and projector location meets the limited sweet spots for these kind of screen.

The YouTube videos you posted in the i5 thread totally convinced me to get this projector... thanks for sharing!!

I wonder, does anyone experience uneven focus for UHL55?
I received one, and the picture can only be made sharp partly - if I make left part precisely sharp, the right becomes blurry, and vice versa.
I can make center text sharp, but then both left and right parts are somewhat blurry.
Is it normal by all means, or should not happen.

I previously had Optoma LH150 (battery full hd projector) and its focus was much better.

I have to use the manual focus with mine... but once I do it’s fine.... I haven’t mounted it yet so I’ll have a better idea of how the autofocus works once I do...

I also only rely on manual focus, as auto-focus works only on short distances (and even there it's not reliable)
The problem I had was that no matter I tweak it, it's either very sharp on the left side (and blurry on the right), or sharp in the center (and slightly blurry on both left and right), or very sharp in the right (and blurry on the left). It's the same no matter of the projection distance (short or long). There is no focus position that makes whole picture sharp.

I position the projection straight in front of the wall (not use any horizontal or vertical corrections), so that's not the issue.
I also tried multiple different sources, i.e. chromecast, fire stick or xbox one x.

I’m not having that problem at all... how long ago did you buy it? Any chance you can get it repaired under warranty or exchanged for a new one?

The bluetooth on my projector is no longer working. It's just stuck on disabled. I've tried resetting the project and nothing seems to fix it. Anyone have any suggestions? I've put in an extended warranty ticket through CPS, but I'm not happy about having to do that.... The remote works like crap through IR..... might be time to invest in a universal remote, but it not working really sucks...

Anyone have experience using a harmony remote with this projector? I’m assuming it works via IR.... wondering if the range will be just as bad as it is with the regular remote....

I don’t really need Bluetooth functionality if I can get the harmony to work...
