Cannot make up my mind between refurbished TK800 and new TK800M

So currently I have seen a refurbished TK800 only half price of the new one. and Tk800M just came out with better color Rec.709 96%, but the price is of course higher than refurbished TK800. However which only has 92% Rec.709.
So as my first projector, should I just go with the refurbished Tk800? Is it big difference between 92% and 96% of Rec.709?

Also, the refurbished one only comes with 1 year warrnty.. I don't know this will be an issue? Normally ony the lamp will need to be replaced. I assume the worse case will be after 1 year I need to spend money on the lamp replaceement that will still be cheaper than new Tk800?

What kinda usage would you be doing that you’d need to replace the lamp after just 1 year?

Is the lamp in the refurbished one coming already used up or something? Do you know how many hours is already on it?

I guess I will just use it for watching one movie (every friday we have movie night) and some anime a week.

I would not know how many hours the lamp been used but based on the staff from BenQ said they usually return from shows, demo units returned, ox or carton damaged. Usually less than 20 hours unless they note otherwise.

Do the math on lamp replacement needs. Almost everyone gets at least 3,000 hours of life out of the latest projector lamps and many get thousands more. One movie a week is 2 hours or 104 hours per year. Say "some anime" a week is as much as 10 hours. That's 520 hours per year plus 104 hours of movies is 624 hours per year. At that rate the original lamp would take nearly 5 years to reach 3,000 hours.

That is not too bad if can use for up to 5 years then I just need to replace the lamp. My anime hours actually are actually less than 10hrs a week, just like 2~3hrs.

OK, so 3 hours a week for anime and 2 hours for a movie is 5 hours a week or 260 hours per year. At that rate the original lamp will last more than 10 years.
