BenQ projector undiscribed led flashes

Dear All,

My projector Benq MH 535 after switching on starts blinking its Power and Lamp leds - Power green led flashing, Lamp - red led flashing. Projector is still fresh new - may be 50-100hours of use.

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Oleg

On most projectors the user manual has a chart that describes the issues related to different combinations of warning lights. If you don't have a user manual you can usually find a pdf file for download from the projector manufacturer's website.

You could put in a call to BenQ’s customer support.

What to do if you find yourself stuck with no hope of rescue:
Consider yourself lucky that life has been good to you so far. Alternatively, if life hasn't been good to you so far, which given your present circumstances seems to be more likely, consider yourself lucky that it won't be troubling you much longer...

Thank you, Dave in Green, I do have manual of BenQ MH535, it does have the table with indicators status table, but strangely, my situation with blinking green power and red lamp is not described even nothing similar to what I have.
This is definitely a service mode. It can be solved for a short while (may be days) by unplugging the power cord and plugging back again. But the problem reappears after some time. I have 6 such benqs and the same problem with two of them.

Hope for help. Otherwise I'm in trouble and never ever use BenQs again.

Thank you for your response, sage11x, I have contacted BenQ support and they suggested to bring projectors to them, but this is highly problematic as they are part of system. And BenQ support didnt answered about the mode my projectors are entering - on a phone there are not so much qualified support. So, to bring projectors is not the option. Pretty new ones they should work but such a nasty behaviour.

Obviously any service modes that are not described in the user manual are unusual. The fact that the same thing is happening to two different projectors in the same system suggests that there is an issue with your 6-projector system. Typically something as complex as a 6-projector system will have been set up by an AV professional with experience dealing with any special issues that might occur with such a system. This does not sound like a BenQ issue but a system issue.
