Epson EH-TW3500/3600

Hi

I have a Epson EH-TW3500 with a burnt out polarizer as I hadnt turned it on for a few months. The bulb only were replaced and I had only 80 hours on them.

I found someone selling a 3600 model which has the lamps no good. Is it possible for me to use my lamp in the 3600 since its the model up? If so is the changeover quite easy? If not can I extract the 3600 prism with the good filter in it and put in my 3500?

I know someone had a guide on here in how to fix it but theres no guarantee I will do it properly and that it will look as good as gold.

Thanks.
