Problem with my Benq PX727 projector

How long does the bulb usually last before replacement?
I currently have 5103 hours on my bulb.
Lately, I've noticed that my Benq PX727 projector has been randomly turning itself off.
And the lamp indicator/temperature indicator light on top of the projector flashes pink in color.

The manual says Light source is not lit up.

Could be from overheating. Better contact Viewsonic.

I wonder if you have enough ventilation in that room? Could hot air be pooling around the projector?

Nope, the projector sits out in the open with plenty of ventilation on all four sides.
