Is the Kaleidescape store down? I have 67% download to Your system cannot contact the Kaleidescape Store. System not in contact?

I downloaded Once Upon a Time in Hollywood this morning in 24 minutes and watched it this evening without incident. When I saw your post, though, I checked again and got the same error message you reported. Apparently the Kscape server is having problems this evening. Glad I did my download this morning.

Anyone having issues with new K app?

I cannot see my movies or anything on ‘remote’ page. The screen on that page is black and prompts me to wake up player by touching screen. I do this but no player shows.

I have the right IP address for the k server. Even tried IP address for my player.. it’s on the same wifi network. Even when K is powered on I see nothing on the app. . Does The player have to be running (active hdmi output to projector) to see this? Thanks.

Goodbye to a great audio and video genius and writer... JOHN GANNON. I enjoyed your friendship, wit and a nice long run we took around Indianapolis at CEDIA years back... and for buying my Runco 980 Ultra years back... you saved my ass! Rest in peace.

No issues with mine(iOS). Have you rebooted your K system?

Assume the issue he is having is with the main iOS app and not the second screen (iPad)? The main/new app doesn’t show your movies, only what is playing. Movies I believe have to generally be looked at from your display. SJ

I’m out of town but will be back to try Tuesday. I rebooted the K player but not the Terra server. I tried the IP address of the player and server but still no luck. The devices have static IP addresses. iOS device (iphone) is dhcp on the network.

I’m able to locate each piece via it’s IP address on my computer. Strange.

I haven’t redone loaded the app. I’ll try that.

the deals are pretty nice, but what i really want is a promotion where they go back to their $1.99 or whatever it was D2D offering for a limited time. I think the goal of everyone in here is to go 100% digital, but with a $5.99 price to do so, when im basically paying somewhere in the $6-$15 range for a disc usually, makes it hard to justify. Until we get MA (fingers crossed), i wish they would throw us a bone and offer a cheaper D2D option. Otherwise i'm going to continue to keep buying like 30 blu-rays like i did today, all for around $6-$8 and load up my disc vault.
