Gosh how I miss Peter’s enthusiasm on this forum. Please give him my best.

Again, job well done guys!

Brad, in addition to picking a great crew of guys to work with, the amount of your personal attention to detail in the room is readily apparent as well.

Incredible! Would love to see it in person one day!

When I met Nigel at the Christie demonstration I asked him how old he was. He asked why and the energy was the reason I asked. He had more than the rest of us in the room combined. Additionally, he is one of those guys who is incredibly enthusiastic about the work..very cool.

I can tell even from his posts that he is so incredibly enthusiastic about his work. His contributions to the forum alone are impressive.

I had assumed from the pics in the Christie thread that Nigel was the guy in the burgundy shirt and glasses standing next to Art (in one of the pics)...obviously not!

Interesting project... not dissimilar to my own (at least the latest version).

Thanks for all the information and congrats on a fantastic project. Unusual (and great) to see all the people involved in photos at the end.

Will be chewing Nigel's ears off to hear all about it when I visit him soon.

I’ve been silent on my Sim2 Projector knowing Nigel was about to publish his review. Its a great review that for the first time that I’ve seen really measures on screen contrast at the levels that real content is displayed. https://www.avsforum.com/forum/86-ul...scussions.html

Fantastic result! Out of curiosity, what projectors did you consider for your theater?

My 2nd choice was a modified Barco Prometheus (10,000:1 on/off). I looked at a 6P laser but the chiller was too big. I also evaluated the Sony 5000, and the JVC but don't like the color balance of blue laser or the lack of ANSI on LCOS projectors. If you read Nigels review you can see why I went with the Sim2.
