KEF Blade 2 speakers

OK, so last year I rebuilt my HT with help from Magnolia Springfield VA. I have been thrilled ever since. So now it's time to update my audio rack and speakers. The speakers will be the KEF Blade 2. Marvelous sound! The picture below is yours truly at Magnolia in NJ with the KEF head tech rep and my tech rep from Magnolia, auditioning the Blade 2 speakers. The Blades will be powered by McIntosh MC611 monoblocks and the C52 preamp. Stuff is being ordered now and I can't wait.

Suggestion: if you are looking for high end speakers, make sure the KEF Blades are on your short list.

I have heard the Blade 2s and they are NICE!!! What will you use for your center, surround, and top ceiling Atmos/DTS-X/Auro 3D speakers???

Steve, the Blade 2 speakers are strictly for the critical listening room. The HT is complete with Definitive Technology speakers in a 5.4.2 configuration. They are perfect for HT.

I have listened to the blade 2s and I liked them a lot but I was under the impression they are picky on the room there in. (I could be wrong)

They are picky about how they are powered.

Congrats, Mike! Excellent choices!
Love my Blade Two’s! Exceptional speaker.
They seem happy powered by Ayre mono blocks. 😃
Hope your wait isn’t too long.

Beautiful speakers in a beautiful room. Any adverse affects of the mirrored wall behind the speakers?

audioguy, no issues whatsoever. Just for grins, I played Good Vibrations (on Tidal). It blew me away. I'm getting the remaster of The White Album to listen to.
