It’s hard to stop once you start

I started off about 3 months ago thinking about how to improve the music capabilities of my theater. I decided that I wanted to try Roon.
Without going into specifics, I ended up replacing my processor, the entire speaker system and upgrading and getting more subs. For good measure, I changed the seating and rewired everything.
I’m now contemplating a different screen. Oh yes, I also upgraded my Lumagen. I’ll eventually need my projector recalibrated.
In the process of getting the processor calibrated to the room.
Everything just flowed from the first decision.
I just couldn’t stop. And yes, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it.

The slippery slope. "Might as well" do X since you're doing Y.

Stuck up, half witted, scruffy looking, nerf herder.
Double True!

And slowly make your way up to B and then A .
And then start again from Y again as it will to time to upgrade .... 😀

YEA - My theater has been down for upgrade/reconstruction since August 1, and still probably 2-3 months away from completion. Now I've had ROON for 4+ years now. But what started out as a change from Theta CBIVA SSP (Theta SSP since 1997) slowly turned into a major theater reconstruction and major upgrade, starting with Trinnov Altitude 32 SSP, expanding from 5.2.4 to 9.9.13 system, including 9 21" sealed Seaton subwoofers. Very dangerous road financially. HA! Of course, my dedicated theater was built 1996-1997, and with changes in technology it was time for a major change, so that "And When I Die" (I have some years left to enjoy at 66) (per Blood, Sweat & Tears) I have "Satisfaction" (Rolling Stones)!

Theater Renovation: 3 Aerial Acoustics 7ts & 6 7LCRs; 13 Triad Rotating Silver/9 Sat; 9 Seaton 21" sealed subwoofers; Trinnov Altitude 32 SSP; 3 Theta Digital Prometheus, Trinnov Amplitude 8 & 8M, and ATI AT526NC amplifiers; Sony VW5000 projector; Lumagen Radiance Pro; Panamorph DCR lens; Stewart Filmscreen Vistascope 14' wide 2.40 SnoMatte 100 screen; Kaleidescape & Pioneer UDP-LX500 4k players; Apple TV 4k; TIVO Bolt OTA.
