I think it may still be a gray area, but this is a major liberty, if it really was Shelby's idea to do a 3 car finish. Perhaps he just gave the order, but it didnt seem that way from the interview. I used to own a 2007 Shelby GT500, so Shelby is awesome to me. Even so, there is no reason to villainize another man in film, if he really was not to be blame. It is a very powerful movie.

In any event, here is the video the video that I make reference to. Start it at 1:06:55.

Great pics - doesn't look like Art has aged at all in 10 years You know it's a serious foodie collection when someone pulls out the blowtorch...I assume it was for the crème brulee and not to coax people out of the hotseat Food and wine looks very impressive. Theatre looks amazing and the comments confirm it performs as well as it looks...good stuff!

There were more probes and gadgets while making this sumptuous Berkshire Pork Chop than you would have in a by pass.

Jeff takes his food and wine as seriously as his theater and cars.

What a great Host - I was his house Guest for the night - and what a generous couple.

My daughter turned me on to a digital thermometer with probes and phone app last Christmas. I had some folks over to BBQ and watch "Ford vs. Ferrari" a couple of weeks ago and I did up hamburgers, sausage, and BBQ sauce chicken breast to perfection with it.

That looks like one delicious patient...I mean porkchop.

Ash, I don't know if you still have your AWE650 car but it was what inspired me to start modding...I have the AWE exhaust but other non-AWE parts. Your theatre is also an amazing accomplishment. For you and Art to rave about the bass at Jeff's place it must really be something special. I'll have to work on getting myself invited, lol.

Funny that Jeff asked me about the AWE Mod and how it compares with the 458 sound (music) - not sure what package you went with on the AWE but mine on the Turbo Cab 650HP (700 with race gas) screamed louder than the 458.
I don't have that Turbo anymore as I got the newer version Turbo Cab - no mods (not posting pics but tempted).
Hope you are enjoying your AWE mods - that is what I recommended to Jeff - after watching Ford Ferrari - you feel the need for speed.
Thanks for your kind words on my theater, I love it and that is my favorite possession for sure.
Art is someone we all have looked up to over the years especially on video - meeting him was a privilege - he is one down to earth guy and his wife Angela a warm hearted person.
Jeff's theater has the least amount of compromises - very nice - it is what you would build today versus what I built when I did.

I was just looking at the AWE page after reading this.

It has been over like 5 years ago... I got the 650AWE:

AWE Performance Muffler with 200 Cell Cats for 997TT - Diamond Black Tips

Also the GIAC Chip Mod - which gets the Race Mod - Flash Loader and bunch of goodies.

You could start with the exhaust and the GIAC later

You re bringing back memories - yes droning was a concern... but that is what AWE promises No Droning. I cannot remember for sure but slight droning if you drove at a constant speed/cruise (at a certain RPM) but with the AWE Porsche who wants to cruise...
Mine was a cab so with the top down it screamed so hard - you would just burst out laughing..

Since this thread is completely derailed...

I have a Traeger pellet smoker that I use now and then. I had a BGE for about 12 years, and then the last round of movers shattered it. Did a bit of research and since I didn't want to spend $$$$ on a Komodo Kamado

https://komodokamado.com/ What a work of art though.

I ended up buying a Monolith. Outstanding feature set, incredibly flexible, and I like it quite a bit more than my previous BGE. And believe me, that statement is almost as big as Bruzonsky trading out his Theta for a Trinnov.

For a second I thought you had changed your SSP from Trinnov to a Monolith SSP. Or got one of those new Monolith subwoofers.

That would have been WAY more monumental than me switching from Theta to Trinnov. HA!

lol. Visiting you and Art has been on my list for ages. Art has invited a couple of times when he had those big gatherings but unfortunately the dates just didn't work for me. I had thought once my kids were out of diapers I'd have loads more free time but it didn't turn out to be the case. But at least my 3 girls enjoy watching movies with me.

I know exactly what you mean! I did drive a 458 and it makes beautiful music but my modded P is way more "obnoxious" but in a good way. I still have the catless AWE exhaust. I originally had the Champion 68 turbos which were upgraded versions of the stock ones but I recently changed to Xona turbos with all the necessary part upgrades and the need for speed has been satisfied...

It is interesting how things have evolved over the past 10 years from projectors to prepros to inwall subs to number of speakers going into the design, etc... I assume with your choice of front speakers that you are also a music lover. I spend as much time as I can listening to music, usually alone or with my audio pals. Movie time with family and friends is also really enjoyable. I learned a lot from my own build as well as the numerous builds on AVS and will definitely try to incorporate the "good bits" from the exceptional ones whenever I build my next theatre prior to visiting the big theatre in the sky.
