Projector recommendatio s

Hey guys looking for advice for projector. Dedicated room 18*30. 12 foot ceilings. Trinniv and quest for audio. Separate av room in back where projector will go. Looking to do a 16*9 foot size screen. Acoustic transparent. What do you think would be best material and beat projector for HDR and would like 3d capable. Mostly Blu-ray and now of course have to steam in This new future. Would like to be around 60k but can wiggle. New or used. Thanks, rob.

Before the inevitable come flooding in, I will say VPL-VW5000ES. Even better now with latest firmware.

You didn't mention the size of the screen.

For the screen, you should look at V6 or Seymour. Call Craig Peer or Mike Garrett to get some samples.

With a 16' x 9' AT screen, a lot will depend on what fabric in the screen. If talking woven screen, then you are going to need some serious lumens.

Check out the Sim2 Nero 4S. 6K lumens, amazing picture, not as good contrast as, but much quieter than, the JVC.

Didn't see the foot after that.

I recall DP having a 16 x 9 foot screen at Cedia. Didn't JVC do a 16x9 foot screen as well?
