So now that the hemc has been out for several months, can someone describe what happens when watching a movie that has both regular and extended editions? For example- the lord of the rings movies- what happens when they branch to new scenes I the extended edition? How long does it take to resync?

HI , how can u do this ! I have asked D-Box before , they are not suggesting to do the maintenance yourself ! But I am still thinking what u are doing is very normal for mechanical system ! So can u share the method with me ! Mine is a SRP330 ! Thx !

Where can I find the list of 3D Blu-ray players that support dual HDMI outputs and digital optical outputs at the same time? My Oppo BD-93 is beginning to not play certain titles and I am tired of sending in my Oppo players to Oppo for service. For the $500 I spent on the player, it should play everything I throw at it. Pretty bummed. I don't think I will ever own another Oppo. They are waaaaay overrated!

My HEMC goes to sleep after a while, is the only way to wake it with the physical button on the unit?

Anyone have a workaround for remotely turning it on?

My gut feeling is you have the only one

I suspect you have been caught in the never ending war between copy protection schemes and the disc copier software. Have you tried updating the firmware to avoid shipping your Oppo ? If updating firmware isn't working for you, you are on the bleeding edge of the war. Of course, if the Oppo is dying, thats another problem.

This is really off-topic.

Nothing in this posting/signature really means anything in the long run.

You have the only brand that does it. Even media players like the Mede8er that will output both simultaneously limit you to lossy codecs if you set it up that way. They've supposedly committed to keeping that functionality in their eventual 4K Blu-ray unit.

No official D-Box at CEDIA, but Jamar was there with D-Box demos. Jamar has a new line of seating with D-Box that I felt was very creative. We are talking sectionals that have D-Box inside. It seems they have heard complaints of comfort as I felt these new seats were comfortable.

Check the box near the bottom for a "cheapskate" D-BOX theater trick. Never thought about that before. The problem would be if nobody bought D-BOX seats!

I assume this is for the vibrations, I know this works in my theater in my seats without D-Box.

Anyone check out San Andreas? I felt a lot of "twisting" motions that were different and not sure I cared for them. An example is very early on when you first see a helicopter flying, prior to seeing its passengers.

Ok, so they are all yellow to begin with (although looks more orange to me). If I pull the power on each actuator and reconnect, it turns to green. But, still no motion. If I then powercycle the controller, the actuator status remains green, but still no motion. If I turn power off to the theatre, then turn back on again, the actuator status returns to yellow again.

What should I do from here?

What really annoys me about this hobby is when something works perfectly fine one minute, and then without anything changing, it doesn't want to work anymore.

I will have this looked by the technical support, you'll get an email today
Hi Yannick,

I am running into a similar problem as Gino AUS. I am using a D-Box Odyssey actuator with a KAI-1P controller. For a period of time I was getting an orange light on the actuator but now all lights are green (on both the controller and actuator). Though I cannot test the motion platform. When I open up the monitor it says "Motion platform unrecognized" and "Communication fault". I have used the Windows 10 workaround as well. Lastly, I would have posted images bu the forum would not let me.

Any help is appreciated!
