Jumping back in here...
I bought, and raved about, the T-Zero + T1 earlier this year. Then the upgrade bug hit, and I've spent the last 6+ months climbing up the B&W ladder (cm6s2, 704s2, 702s2). I just pulled my T-Zero out of the back, plugged them in to my new A-100, set them sort of beside my desk and facing directly at me, and it's *so nice*. Compared to the B&W stuff, these are warm, inviting, and *so* pleasant to listen to at lower volume levels (I always thought the B&W speakers sounded better the louder you pushed 'em). I swapped out the 704s2 for a bit because I *should* be enjoying them more in the same position. They definitely have things they do better - they are much better at higher volume, the bass is better defined, and the mids are obviously clearer (maybe that's just brighter?), but none of that makes them more pleasant to listen to in this use case.
All this to say, I'm re-discovering my T-Zero and loving them. And the A-100 is pretty slick as well. My goal was always a comfortable, pleasant music listening experience while I'm working (I work from home). If I had started with this combination, I very likely wouldn't have spent the many thousands of dollars I've spent on other speakers searching for something better.
