I just wanted to post this in case anyone is looking for speakers they would have another option to look at.

Their prices range from $1,600 to $3,000 which seems to be a very nice price range especially considering who makes them.

These are cheap and work fine. They come in different heights too. Not sure how high you need for the monitors.

Those look good to me. 24" is about right. I see I missed the older post about listening height and switching the position of the midrange and tweeter. That couldn't be done without revising the crossover. But it won't matter if you're seated a little below the tweeter axis. The response doesn't change very much.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a stand appropriate for the Philharmonitors?

While more expensive, I like these stands that I'm using for a pair of Soundfield Audio Monitor 1 (they're pretty heavy for their size. About 37lbs each I believe). The cast iron base makes them very stable.

Btw, I bought them from Wayfair.com.

It sure has been quiet around here. I guess we have all too busy playing holiday music on our Phils?

Well, I've been enjoying the heck out of mine and I wish you all a fantastic 2014. Here's a New Year's bump for a wonderful speaker brand and an even better CEO/CFO/Designer/BoxBoy/Builder/MarketingDepartment/MailStaff and all-round great person...Dennis Murphy.

Always great to hear from you Mud, and thanks for the well wishes. I've been spending all of my time building those silly Pioneer 22 mods--the price was a little too right, I guess. I have quite a few Phil 3 orders being built, and a new 3-way to be announced in a few weeks. Happy 2014 to all.

I'll spell out the details when I have a pair to sell. It will be similar to the Slims, and probably equal in quality, but at a substantially lower price. The $3K tower market is just too crowded.

Looking forward to seeing the details on this new model.
