Just wondering if my Yamaha RXV567 (90w per channel x7) will hold up against a pair of RF-82ii's ? I have a little sub (SW-350) Klipsch.. I will eventually upgrade the receiver but for now I am taking one step at a time. I was going to grab the towers and an RC-62ii for the center and add RB-61ii's for the surrounds later while also upgrading receiver and sub at some point down the road. Will the receiver hurt me with this setup and will I need to be looking to upgrade it soon or can I hold off for a couple years?

That receiver will work great. It has plenty of power, you have to remember to increase SPL by 3dB, you need double the power. Most receivers have an inaudible difference in power. In addition, those Klipsch speakers have high sensitivities meaning they will play very loud.

5.1: Samsung PN60F5300 | Sony BDP-S1700 | Denon AVR-1713 | EMP E55Ti | EMP E56Ci | EMP E5Bi | Outlaw Ultra-X12

2.0: Oppo DV-980H | Apple Airport Express | Topping D30 | Parasound HCA-1500a | Chane A1.4
