Hello,

Please vote on the best subwoofer for a 2.1 computer desk top system. I would like to use a powered sub through a receiver.

Since your speaker pair budget was around $300 in the other thread, I'd stick with a sub that would match the speaker specs. No need in getting a 1500w sub for 200w RMS speakers. The SVS SB-1000 sub I have for my 100w RMS active monitors works well and it is a small sub, which is easy to place under a computer desk. The sub has become a temporary shelf for my Logitech foot pedal module when I'm not using it. LOL

Denon AVR X7200WA, Emotiva XPR-5, Emotiva XPA-7, Sony XBR 85" X900F, Oppo UDP-203, Roku Ultra.
DefTech BP7000SC (L/R), CLR3000 (C), SM55 (FH), UIW BPZ/A (SB), UIW 75 (TM).
JBL L7 (Sur), EoSone RSR 350 (RH).
PC 2.1 setup. Emotiva Stealth 6, SVS SB16-Ultra sub, Emotiva DC-1 DAC.

I'm using Dual JL Fathom F110s with my computer speakers, they aren't bad, but not the best either obviously. They are great for small subs.

I suspect Trace was being facetious because the OP gave so few details. wink.gif

If you take yourself too seriously expect me to do the exact opposite...
