Still waiting on mine. I don't know what's going on with Fed Ex. First they had changed the delivery to yesterday then they didn't come after I sat around waiting all day. Now they say today. At this point (3:20 PM) I'll just believe it when I see them.

I'm not surprised, coming from the 110's I doubt you'll be blown away. The speakers are very similar except in the mid-bass punch which I found to be more (much more) noticeable in the the 210T's. And personally I love that mid-bass. But as I've said many times in this thread, the 110's are a serious speaker.

The 210T's have impressive bass if you apply a house curve. I boosted the 30hz region on mine +3db and the bass was impressive. I did end up removing it because I let the subs do the heavy lifting. The house curve was more or less a experiment to see how much bass the 210T's could yield by themself. I was able to muster 116db @ 40hz 16ft away with my Yamaha 1040 AVR for amplification. As Hopinater pointed out, the mid bass is very impressive on these speakers and make my subs sound more crisp and punchy.

We watched "Tron Legacy" last night (210T's, 2210-C, SR-110's) and stuff on the shelfs was moving, that never happened before. The 210's had the hair on my arms raised, they are electric!

My 210ts and 210c got here Wednesday afternoon late and I spent several hours moving older stuff out and placing these. In short, THESE SPEAKERS ROCK! In typical PSA fashion, how good they are is understated. I have been tweeking positioning and equalization since then and mostly listening to music (with some movie LFE scenes thrown in) and they are in a word...stunning. IMO you would have to spend a lot more money to get any significantly better performance. I am blown away by the dynamics, the mid bass, and the highs from the compression tweeters. They simply reproduce what they are given with beautiful clarity and at what ever level you desire. I'm not an audiophile but I've heard plenty of live music. The best audio equipment should make you feel that you're at a live performance. These do that. Worth every penny and more. Kudos and thanks to Tom and Jim. I think I've bought my last set of front speakers.
I'm a very happy PSA customer.

ps: that monster center would not fit into my tv table/stand so now I get to start looking for a new entertainment center.

I saw the posting about outlet items late yesterday afternoon and against my wallet's advice I swung by the PSA site to take a look. Oh to what do my wandering eyes does appear... A heavily discounted B Stock MT210C in the older style that will match perfectly to my new (to me) used MT110 I purchased a while back. Popped into chat with Tom to confirm the condition of the speaker and decided you only live once and pulled the trigger.... 5 minutes later I have a shipping # in my inbox and 30 minutes after that confirmation that the package was on it's way with delivery scheduled for Saturday. I know everyone says it but the CS that PSA provides is amazing. Tom was great to work with as always and their ability to answer questions and get orders out the door in super human speed is a pleasure to see after some of the horror stories going around lately. Thanks PSA and looking forward to wrestling this beast into my setup to give it a listen this weekend!

Congratulations. It's hard to find the words to describe just how good they are isn't it?

Enjoy playing around with them. By the way, you will hear notes and instruments in your favorite music that you never noticed before. And if you really want to have fun crank them up loud and see if you can get them to show any weakness. Looks like you are in for a great weekend.

Hop, you are right. They resolve details that I wasn't hearing in my Polks. The difference (not surprising considering the drivers involved) in the mid bass is great. Tom was right about these revealing any weakness in the source. These speakers are a bargain at the price.

Congratulations on the new front stage!! I am a bit envious of not having the towers but very happy with the 210's

Yep, I may do just this. Course it means raising the tv 11 inches which my wife doesn't like. I've already crammed the end of this little room full of PSA gear. I need to do something she'll like.

Wait, you put 210T's on top of S1500's? From a WAF point of view, that's a brave move my man

Arent the mids kind of high for best placement? I have the 210's on top of S3000i's and they are a great height.

Also it looks like you have a riser that the TV sits one-why not remove that and put the 210C there?

Edit-nevermind-I now see it better, the riser is on top of the 210c

Sorry for the dark picture. The 210Ts are behind the subs so tweets are at approximately ear height. The tv (mounted on the stand it came with) is sitting on what is called a machine table that is 24 inches tall. My old center speaker was mounted on a shelf inside the legs of the table. The 210C would not fit in the same place, so it is sitting on a stand in front of the table. It sounds great but takes up a lot of space out in the room so I will be looking for some way to better integrate it.

I was confused about how those speakers were the 210T's but now I see they are behind the subs. You are probably getting some weird reflections off of that subs. Might be better to move the subs behind the speakers or elsewhere in the room if possible.

This room is really full of furniture (along with the audio equipment). But I would like to experiment with different sub locations as I get time. I'm hesitant to move much since it sounds so good as it is. I owned pretty good equipment back in the 80s (before I got out of audio for almost 20 years)....Infinity Towers with Carver mono amps and a nice collection of vinyl but this equipment sounds better than that ever did. The advance in technology is substantial (no pun intended ).

You have one understanding wife Roadwar.

Without knowing the room layout its difficult to see what other options you might have for the subs, but seeing them in front of the 210T's will very likely have some negative impact as Ray pointed out.

If the room is already full and other sub locations are minimal (again unknown) then maybe MTM210's may work better on top of the subs.

After a 20 year hiatus you have some top notch gear. I hope you have some more placement options....and your wife has some more patience and understanding left in the tank.

Overall if it works for you and your wife, then its all good

I was looking at this as well and wondering if it was a camera angle making the 210T's look shorter than they were.

If it sounds good that is all that matters....I was told the cabinet doors on my credenza "might" cause wierd reflections with my 210c, so I removed them...no change in sound to my eears. It was suggested my 210c is too low, so I moved it up higher, again not enough difference to justify raising my TV up another 11".

The Best thing you can do is just experiment with different setup and placement options until you find what your ears like best. Most of us have to compromise and make due with our rooms and what we have to work with.

@Roadwar , enjoy your new 210 setup my friend!!

Am I ever enjoying it! This is the best sounding gear I've ever had. I apologize for the dark picture that has led to more confusion than it has clarification. I guess even an iphone can only do so much with a room this dark. It's like a cave in here. My wife doesn't understand my audioholic disease but she loves me and understands that an occasional treatment with new equipment isn't a complete cure but does dampen the fever for a time . I pulled the Canon G15 out so here's a little better picture. The subs are against the 210s and there may be some reflections off of them. I'm not too far away from getting REW and really beginning to understand more about this room's response.

Nice! I don't think you have room for any bigger speakers in your front soundstage.

@Roadwar

I love how you crammed all that gear in such a tight place, looks like something I would do and my wife would hate.... Then again maybe not, she did let me turn our master bedroom into a small theater lol

My 15 year old cousin is in town hanging out today, so I let him pick out any two movies to watch, he chose Star Wars TFA and Terminator 2. I knew the former sounded awesome, but I hadn't listened to T2 on the PSA system yet, and wow this movie still holds up great! The clarity/detail, huge soundstage, use of surround effects, and bass are way more than I was expecting for an early 90s movie.

The audio engineers truly went above and beyond for this film...probably why it was THX demo material for a while. I think the T2 special edition was the first DVD I ever bought, and I watched it on my computer's DVD player sitting 3 feet away from a massive 20" Trinitron monitor.
