Has Amazon received the A4's as well as the other models? No word yet from Amazon on a shipping date on those.

I'll be using the A4's with a Pioneer 1130 that I just received. If all goes well, I'll probably upgrade my TV next year and may get the complete Debut setup (F5's, B6's, and C5) to replace my current speakers.

But first, I want to try the A4's with the ATMOS receiver and see if the impact on my listening environment (which is far from ideal) is significant enough to warrant new speakers all around. I have to say that the 1130, even without using the ATMOS features yet, sounds noticeably better than my previous Pioneer (which was still nice). The sound imaging is much more nuanced and effective, perhaps because of the MCACC Pro. Can't wait to get the A4's and stream some ATMOS material.

I've had the B6 since Saturday and I feel like a thief for paying only $279 (MusicDirect).

They sound so big and cast a wide stage.

Loop, I envy you. Wish the A4 would start appearing in stock. I guess the delay is from the plant in China, is that what others understand to be the case?

B6 specs list 120 watts as the max

wondering what the lowest/weakest amp will be that can drive the speakers safely

Lepai at 20 watts?

Low end receiver?

and what will the difference in sound be between either of the above vs a nice integrated amp like the one they're releasing at CES? Dramatic? Limited?

I'm driving them with a Wyred 4 Sound with 250 watts per channel. Seems fine.

Been using two F5's and a C5 in my setup now for about a month and man I love these speakers. I'm hoping to see some reviews on the A4's and adding an Atmos speaker to my setup for even more depth.

Glad to hear you're enjoying the speakers you've gotten. I don't think the A4's have made it to market yet. I've had a pair on order for some time now with no signs of their actually being in stock anytime soon. If anyone has other news regarding availability< I'd love to hear it.

I'm kind of in the reverse position of Raylon. If I get A4's and like them with ATMOS in my setting, I may swap the other speakers I have for ELACs (although the Sony Extended Definition satellite speakers I have actually sound quite good).

Need upgrade for vacation home living room system. Very open & hardwood floors with 9 ft ceilings. Better to look at Debut B6 or F5 towers?? 75% use for classic & soft rock and remainder 5.1 movies & TV . Thanks; I like rich, punchy music with no boominess. And yes, have a sub already, 12" 150 watt purchased last year

At the ELAC pricing go with the towers. Another candidate is the SVS PRIME towers but more money.

After the install everyone can go to Merrill's Inlet!

Sure wish A4 units would ship. I've had my Atmos-enabled Pioneer AVR for months now but still no Atmos speakers to show me what it can do.

And so, another month passes with no word of when ELAC will ship the A4 Atmos up-firing speakers.

I see that they've issued another speaker line at CES 2016 that has gotten great reviews. I hope that all their manufacturing efforts don't go toward those at the expense of the Debut series. I'm starting to wonder if these speakers are vaporware or something that we'll eventually actually see.

Same....I e-mailed Music Direct on 1/15 and they told me it was "pushed back until early February". This is after I e-mailed them in December at which point they told me they were pushed to January. No word as of today. Starting to think we'll never see these either. Might have to go a different direction.

Looks like February 17 release (per their website). Chris Walker indicated that they are set to arrive at the port this week and should be in their warehouse next week.

I also heard from Chris Walker that they had left the factory and were en route. He specified early March or possibly sooner as when they'd reach consumers. I still think these well may be worth the wait and hope my expectation is confirmed when they arrive.

Hey let me say first this site is a ton of knowledge and I always find myself lurking looking for a answer to to my question ,Hence why I made this profile

I was EXtremely lucky to be able to get the Elac fs line ..long story but I was looking at the debuts and found the fs Line for a great price so I hopped on it fs77 and cc71 center white gloss first impression I was legit blown away I'm no audiophile or anything but playing normal tracks I have history with I could hear sounds and voices and instruments so clean and clear and it fills the room with sound ..In some movie scenes I find myself trying go figure out where the sound is coming from couldn't be happier

Now for my problem
1.There is no sub for sale in the us for Elac Germany and ordering thru eu sites after conversion And shipping was way to much ..furthermore the Elac debut line in the us is fine but it's not white -_- ..ended up getting a polk psw 111 + pinnacle subsonic 6 inch the Polk doesn't go super deep but it's so tight and clean

2.surrounds -I wanna go full 7.2 so I'm gonna add 4 more surrounds but Elac doesn't have a surround and a b4/5/6 might do the trick for the sides but again it's black and the and the bs72/73 that goes with the fs line is like 850 in the us ?? Not a smart option and what makes it WORSE the bs line didn't get a rave review like the b5/ b6 but it' has almost the same exact specs ..but with a higher quality build (crossover /cabinet etc) so that puzzles me

Now after doing some reading I'm gonna go with some M&K dipole /tripoles for the sides mounted high and bookshelfs for the sides maybe some kef q100 ? Taking suggestions need to be white tho ..found the kefs in black for a steal so it's not tottaly ruled out

Atmos ? Again the A4( which I see everyone is waiting for ) is only in black the Ts line from Germany is black also but it would blend better with the high gloss all in all Im still really happy with my system so far I'm just hoping I can get the Germany stuff without having to pay a arm and a leg

Amazon has notified me of delivery of the A4's on February 29. I hope they'll prove to be worth the wait.

Well, the speakers have arrived and are hooked up. the speakers themselves are very nice units, very solidly built, with nice clarity. I think they represent an excellent value. Unfortunately, my listening environment isn't optimal for Atmos because of the angled ceiling, so I'm not getting the most from the speakers or (Pioneer 1130) receivers. The sound doesn't emanate from above the way it would in a better setting. But I don't think any of that fault lies with the equipment. If someone had a more suitable environment, I'd have no hesitancy in recommending both the receiver and the ELAC A4 Dolby add-on speakers. I think the system as a whole sounds better than it did before I got the additional pair of speakers but my room just isn't conducive to the most that Atmos can deliver, even with good source material (Atmos version of Gravity) and the receiver successfully passing the Atmos signal through to the speakers. The sound is very nuanced and localized but more in 2 than in 3 dimensions with my specific configuration. So, although I'm not thrilled with the end result, I don't fault the equipment in the least. While in theory I could play around with the A4 placement, trying to get them closer to the ceiling for a more reflective and elevated effect, as a practical matter, I don't think that'll fly in this particular room for a variety of reasons. But I'll keep the speakers because they are nice and do add something, if not quite what I'd hoped (perhaps unrealistically, given the room configuration).
