PSB Amazing Alpha Bookshelf speakers

So I picked up a pair of these older speakers at Goodwill....$8.

I plugged them in and now I have a problem. They sound too good.

I mean what do you do when something doesn't make sense. These sound so amazing I am questioning my sanity.

Thanks, Holy crap I am not kidding. I am questioning every speaker I own now.
Granted I haven't sunk a ton of money into speakers but $8?!?!?! ...and although I haven't done a comparative analysis against every other speaker I won, but dammit I know a "holy sh*t" speaker moment when I hear it.

These speakers are not supposed to be so good. Are they?

^ PSB, a Canadian based company if memory serves, makes some very fine speakers. But like any speaker, it's up to the individual listening to them whether or not they love them.

Music area: Magnepan 3.6, McIntosh MC2205 amp & C48 preamp, SVS SB13-Ultra, Oppo BDP 95, dbx 3BX, and assorted equipment.

It just depends on what speakers you've owned. If you think Bose was great....well, now you know what the real possibilities are.
