Make rears wireless?

Are there any modules or anything to turn my rear speakers to wireless that won't break the bank? If so, what is suggested?

Thanks much.

Can't say that I've ever used a wireless kit myself, however I know that folks here on the forum have had good luck with Rocketfish's wireless subwoofer kit- so I imagine their rear speaker kit would be just as good.

I use the rocket fish wireless extender for my in-wall rear speakers. works great.

I picked up the Rocketfish RF-WHTIB the other day, connected them to my Def Tech BPX's and so far so good.

Any latency issues with wireless rear surrounds? I had heard this was a problem. Since rear surrounds have delay built into their function, how do you tell if there is latency?

any timing delay should be compensated for when you run Audyssey, etc.

Also thinking about the rocketfish kit. Is there a comparable kit that does better than cd quality audio? I only want to use it for my rears, which typically get ambient sound effects in most HT soundtracks, but it would be nice to have even higher fidelity for 5.1 SACD/DVD-A discs.

On something like this, i'm assuming the rocket fish has its own amp that powers the speakers, correct?

There was a better quality wireless device featured recently on AVS front page. No built in amp and I think they were $99/ea meaning $200 for a xmtr & rcvr. Look over what was featured last month

Sure, it was back in July.

Find the Bluesound website as they have other wireless adapters besides the subwoofer model from the article.
Edit: oops, no they don't. just this one at bluesound.com
