Good speakers for oled tv

So I tried the highly rated Samsung hw-ms650 sound bar but was rather unimpressed since it sounded sort of drowned out and indistinct to me. Switched to a cheaper lg sj4y sound bar with sub and it was even worse in the whole indistinct area and sounded unbalanced and echo-y. Actually liking the sound from my laptop speakers more. I still want a sound bar but am open to other types. I don't really need much in the way of power since they will be in a small bedroom. I previously had a pair of 40w bookshelf m-audio av40 speakers for almost ten years before they croaked and they were plenty loud and sounded better than the higher priced sound bars. Now I'm looking for a good 2.1 powered system for 300 bucks or less, preferably something I can easily mount and match my lg b7 oled.

Sony core Bookshelf speakers $75/pair

Denon AVR-S510BT $150 or Yamaha RX-V381 $200

This will beat the pants off any soundbar in that price range.
I recommend adding a small sub to round out the sound.
Yamaha YST-SW012 $75

If you want powered monitors, JBL LSR 305 would be a good choice. Q acoustics BT3 could also work.

Kef LS50,Q200C, Q100, Kef Kube 10B (X2) , Denon AVR-X3400H, Panasonic 50" Plasma, Xbox One.
Bedroom: Kef Q100 ,JBL Loft 20, SVS SB-2000, Denon AVR-S710W, PS3, 32" Insigna LED.

Do you have an amplifier for a 2.1 system and if so which one?

The Sony Cores are not a great choice for wall mounting but these are as they are sealed and come with a keyhole for direct wall mounting using a simple screw and drywall anchor.

If your amplifier has bass management like all Audio Video Receivers are the $75 Yamaha sub already mentioned is a great budget sub, (I have two in my secondary room).
