Hi,
The specified Genelec speakers were the G series, and as far as I can determine they are not compatible with SAM or GLM.

By the way did you go with the Genelec?

If so how are they working out?

I was also thinking of putting together a system of Genelec speakers. My idea was to create a digital system like this:

Mod. Oppo with 7.1 AES out -> Genelec 9301(bass management) -> Genelec SAM speakers

Would you get better SQ with a processor in the chain or not??

The sub is just a Peerless XLS (or even SLS - they use both in different lines), so similar to an SVS PB2000 but with a cool port design and more sophisticated amp. There’s no question that three or four of the latter would be better in every material aspect (output, listening position FR, spatial variance) but might cost more to run the cabling and calibration cost/time. Also, they might not have an acceptable look.

As for the mains, I’ve having trouble seeing what makes the Sonance setup comparable.
