Paradigm se 6000 vs Paradigm monitor 11 v7

Hi, I’m planning to buy a pair of tower speakers and I listened to the paradigm se 6000 and I really loved them. Since I’m on a budget, I’m following the deals and noticed the monitor 11 were being discontinued with great deals. Which one are better for playing video games and watching movies ? Thanks

Though discontinued wouldn’t the Monitor 11v7 have been a class above the current se 6000?

Epson EH-TW9400 - QualGear Fixed Frame 100” - Sony x700 BRP & Panasonic 420 BRP - Sony 1080 AVR - IPL Acoustics M1TLs & IPL Acoustics AVC Pro Centre, Four KEF surrounds & 2 Sub boxes (10” Sub + 10” Passive Radiator)

If you're using a sub, I'd go with the 6000F for the better tweeter. If not, the Monitor 11 will go much deeper and not sound much worse on the top end.

edit: Actually, if you're using a good sub, I'd go with the Premier 200B rather than floorstanders :P

For games and movies, I'd skip the towers and get Atom monitor 7's or Atom monitor SE (whichever is cheaper) and get a good sub like the Monoprice monolith 10 or Emotiva Bas-X12.

Kef LS50,Q200C, Q100, SVS SB-2000, Denon AVR-X3400H, NAD 216, Panasonic 50" Plasma, Xbox One.
Bedroom: Kef Q100 ,JBL Loft 20, Bic F-12, Denon AVR-S710W, PS3, 32" Insigna LED.

How come? I've been eyeing up the 700F's myself. Already have a PWS2200 but could get another sub with the money saved. Room is 13x25, not a big room to fill, but worried that the midrange wouldn't be as good on the 200B as the 700F.

That and there are no reviews and a lot of the deals don't have any yet.

700F vs 200B could go either way. The 700F only has the 5.5" drivers while the 200B has a 6.5", but the 5.5" drivers they use in the 700F are higher quality than those in the 6000F and include that phase lens thing. You'll want to audition both before deciding, of course.

Thanks everyone, I will build a 5.1. We suggested me to buy the sub 10 at 1000$ with the 6000. I will look into everyone’s suggestions. The room is about 12x25.

Vs the Monitor v7's I found the new Monitor SE's to have a better (smoother, more detailed, not quite as bright) tweeter, more bass, a touch less dynamic "slam" in the midrange, and a disappointingly cheap looking finish.

I found the Premier series to sound (and look) better than either Monitor series on all counts, it just sounded a little too bright on the demo equipment and still had less had air and "slam" then the Prestige series. Others listening found the midrange more natural then the Prestige series though so YMMV.

I would stay away from the Paradigm sub. For $1000, you can get the excellent HSU VTF-15H Mk2 sub: http://hsuresearch.com/products/vtf-15hmk2.html that would eat the Sub 10 for breakfast.
You could also buy TWO Monoprice Monolith 10 subs: https://www.monoprice.com/product?p_id=24456 that ould even out the bass response across your room.
