I am looking to donate my 50" TV and use a pull down screen + projector instead to free up some floor space. I would like to make this a very inexpensive project. If I end up using it a lot, I may upgrade down the road.
For now, I have a 100" pull-down screen (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1) , which is good enough quality for me. I have 2 large open doorways into my living room, so one of them would be covered temporarily when using a projector. See the attached picture where I've drawn in the screen and a sound bar above. I have a SONY HT-CT150 subwoofer + sound bar currently hooked up to my TV. I would like to use this decent sound system with the projector, but the only place for the sound bar would be above the screen. The ceiling is 9 feet tall. The soundbar would sit about a foot below the ceiling. Is this a reasonable setup if I angle the sound bar down slightly?
