Eosone RSF1000 sub replacement suggestions

I have Eosone RSF1000 Towers in the 10-inch Subs are wearing out. The foam surround is getting bad and quite honestly they never had good authority. I would like to replace the subs and the amplifiers if possible. Any suggestions would be fantastic.

No suggestions but great speakers in their day.

I’d check out parts Express.

They have plenty of plate amplifiers and they have lots of 10” woofers. If you would like to go cheap, GRS 10” subwoofers are $20 a piece. They are quite good for the money. On the other side, you could go a little more expensive and get Dayton Audio’s Reference 10” which are closer to $100. They have woofers for basically anything you need. If you can take the current woofers out and measure the impedance that would be great so we can find the correct match for you. Also what is the F3 of the Towers? (-3 dB point)

Leave it at 8 ohms and call it a day :)

As for the sub sections never having "good authority", perhaps there is something else wrong with them or they are not connected/configured correctly. I don't know how low they might have gone but my recollection of them is that they were quite capable over the range of frequencies that they DID cover.

I have no idea what the f3 is and wouldn't know how to test that. They look like 4 ohm impedance, I measured three of them and all three came out at 3.2 or 3.3 ohms.

My experience with them has been that they are best used with the high-level inputs to give the towers a fuller range, as opposed to using them as a separate subwoofer channel. They sound good, but not what you would think 4 10's would sound like.

@Russdawg1 is it possible to measure F3 with a working cabinet? I'm happy to take any measurements. I have UMIK-1 and REW but I'm a novice at these things.
