Front & center recommendations please

Hello all & thank you for the very helpful & informative forum!
I am a long time lurker & have started to dive into expanding & improving my low quality home audio setup.
The advice I am looking for is for a new set of FRONT FLOOR STANDING speakers w/ a center channel to accompany them.
My budget will be between 3 and 4 thousand once all is said and done.
As of this time I currently have an Anthem MRX 720 driving 3 Paradigm Elite E80-A in ceiling speakers for the front stage. My current sub is a SVS SB16 Ultra.
I have finally convinced the 'better half' to allow set of towers along w/ a true center channel. Looks will be of small concern, as she will not want something too crazy looking. But i'm more concerned w/ sound!
My only local home theater shop seems to push a lot of Paradigm for the 'lower' price point(thus my choice in the in ceilings I currently have), the model he recommended during my last visit was the Prestige 85F. While they sounded great in his demo, it was a totally different room than mine & obviously better power & calibration than what is @ my home. Everything else he recommended/carries is WAY out of my price range, where the 85F along w/ the matching 55C center is a few grand out of my range. I have been to Best Buy & seen a few of the B&W, but am convinced I can rely on you all for better suggestions!

I have read numerous reviews & threads on here & w/ no way of demoing anything am hoping for some added opinions.

My listening is probably 60% movies & 40% music. Most movies I tend to lean toward action & music is usually anything from blues to heavy metal. Generally it is some form of rock music, whether classic or heavy.
My room is 13x13 w/ 9ft ceilings. The real issue w/ sound staging is the rear of the room, it is open to the rest of the house after a recent kitchen remodel(I will try & attach an image).
I feel getting a good front stage & having it down on the ground especially, will help in my lack of 'volume' I seem to desire.

Thanks for any help & opinions!

Rex

Here's a couple options I'd be looking at - Focal Aria 926 and Dynaudio Excite X38 with matching centers. Both are on clearance too.

Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone!
I seem to see a lot about the SVS Ultra towers & the Klipsch RP series too. Pluses of any mentioned above or either the SVS or RP series as well?

SVS Ultra's are hit or miss. They have been reported as overly bright and overpriced for what they offer. Klipsch RP are toned down from previous generation Klipsch, but are more HT oriented speakers. Kef Q series and the above mentioned Canton Chrono's will be a good dual purpose option.

Internet direct companies such as Chane & Ascend offer excellent price/performance and are most often recommended in the forum. You really can't go wrong with either one if they can pass WAF aesthetically.

Ascend CMT-340 with TP pedestal stands.

Thank you for the further comments & recommendations everyone.
Those Ascend towers look quite intriguing, but the Emotiva T2/C2 combo has me wanting more info. The C2 looks to be a beast! Will have to do some more digging & check further reviews.
Please keep coming w/ the recommendations.

Went ahead and ordered a set of T2 w/ a C2. Not sure how the 'boss' is gonna like the looks, but screw it... she'll get over it!
Thanks again for the recommendations!

I'll take that deal...
She can finish the kitchen, then remodel the bathrooms after that!! I'll put up a tent & run an extension cord out, then I can listen to them outside & she doesn't have to look @ them!
