Would swapping my fronts for something like the RP280f’s make a difference if I already have subs taking up the low end slack? I’m mainly a movies/tv listener.
In that size room with 2 subs and no critical music listening, you'd be wasting your money. If you have money burning a hole in your pocket, go with higher end bookshelf speakers. Then again for movies and TV, not really necessary unless you're not satisfied with your current setup.
