I prefer the Dyns overall. Smoother tweeter and mids. However, the bigger cabinet gives the Reva's deeper bass than the X14's despite the smaller woofer. They sound closer to the Denton 80th than the Diamond 220 to me.

I'm not sure I'd put the Revas up there with the Dynaudios/Revels/Kef LS50s of the world, but they are probably a better value.
rocky1 and Lp85253 like this.

Speakers: M040 | M16 | LS50 | Reva-2| BM5 mk3 | X18 | X14
Sub: VTF-2 mk5
Amps: HK 3490 | TSR-7810

Love my LS50's but looking to spend less... These'll be powered by a Bluesound Powernode2i.

Any thoughts???
I have these. They are awesome!

Just so happens I have the Dyn excite x14's and I think they are great speakers I actually preferred them over the Kef ls50's.Just a matter of taste I suppose as so many swear by the ls50's.

You can see my current speakers in my signature. And yeah, we've talked about them before in my comparison post over in the Dynaudio owner's thread. My overall impressions haven't really changed since then.

I should probably do an update at some point...

Speakers: M040 | M16 | LS50 | Reva-2| BM5 mk3 | X18 | X14
Sub: VTF-2 mk5
Amps: HK 3490 | TSR-7810
