Polk Signature center replacement

Hello I need some recommendations on what to replace my JBL studio 250c with something that might sound a little closer to my polk S60 setup. I didnt go with the signature line center channel because i didnt think it would give me enough sound and voice. Can i have recommendations that will sound more inline to the s60 towers that the jbl that I have. Side note im interested in dipole/bipole surrounds that will match the system tone wise also.

Thanks for your help.

Have you tried the S30 yet?

If not, try that our first before moving somewhere else.

Free 14 day returns at Best Buy.

Leave it at 8 ohms and call it a day :)

No i have not for whatever reason I immediately counted it out since it looked so small. The Jbl that I have sounds great but the voice and sound is noticeable different when the sound transition from left to right.

5 1/4” woofers aren’t exactly small.

I’d give it a try, as there’s no risk. If it doesn’t work out, move on!

Oh boy..... So does anyone have any experience with the speaker and s60 combo and know how they stack up. I have had my eye on this speaker and the bipole they offer. Just want them to match my L/R channels.

Thanks for all the input and helping me spend more money on this drug.....

If you have a best buy near you can buy the S30 and see how you like it. If not satisfied try the 704c. Or order both and do a head to head. Return the loser.

You may want to try the Polk CSI A6 with your setup. It should match your mains or at least be pretty close. If the A6 is too big, they also carry the A4.

Congrats on your S60s. Crutchfield Polk S30 $199; Adorama Polk LSiM 704C $299. Go bold.

I had the Polk S30 paired with the large S20 bookshelf speakers and never had any issues. I think it would be obvious since you have timbre match issues using the Arena 125c that you first try the S30 center, which is the one dedicated center channel in the Polk Signature line.
