How loud are you playing them?
Full range or with a sub?
In 5.1 or 2.1?
Does it also do that when listening to music in stereo at moderate volume?

Try setting the crossover to 80hz and make sure all your speakers are set to small in the AVR settings. Turn it down a few dbs and see if the issue persists. Also make sure double bass is off or set to LFE, NOT LFE + main.

How about with a music CD?

How about in Direct Mode?
