Low end Recs for 90s Yamaha ax 492 amp

Recently repaired this older Yamaha Integrated amp and fell back in love with it! I have a set of 90s Polk bookshelf speakers that work well with mids and treble but searching for a good model to add to the mix that will fill out the low end. Any recommendations appreciated for speakers known to work well with 90s natural sound Yamahas appreciated ! (Or even what
To avoid)

Well, I recently resurrected my Sansu 881 receiver from the late 70s for some friends and they will be getting some Martin Logan LX16s that have great highs and mids but lack some low end as do all 5.25" stand mount speakers so will be adding this subwoofer to the mix as it has speaker level inputs and, best of all, speaker level outputs which send only 70hz and above to the main speakers.

This means that the speakers present an even easier load to the amp and only the sub, (with its own amp), handles the deepest bass.

But if you are looking for a pair of excellent speakers at a decent price that will give you more bass and won't demand a sub for most music consider these.

Free returns if not happy.

If using mostly for music, 2 of these would add a lot more depth to your music.

Ha ha, no; they are getting the LX16s in Cherrywood which, turns out, is real wood veneer!
