Suggestions for Game Room and outdoor speaker options

Good day all,

I have a Pioneer Elite VSX-47TX I will be using for a game room/office and outdoor pool patio receiver. Indoor will have a 10# Velodyne sub, nothing outdoors at the moment. 17'x23' with a 9' ceiling and tile floor, so the room is large and sound bounces. Looking for some suggestions on some wall mount or book shelf speakers for the game room and a pair of outdoor speakers for the pool patio. My home theater config is B&W Nautilus and I was looking at their bookshelves but would like to hear other suggestions. Looking to keep the the pairs under $500 each.

Thanks!
jb

So two pairs of stereo speakers that are both easy to wall mount?

Inside some warmer speakers like Wharfedale in that bright sounding room and outside a pair or two of RSL Outsider speakers.

Great recommendations, but perhaps a speaker with limited vertical dispersion would be best to avoid the floor, like these: https://www.htd.com/Level-THREE-Bookshelf-Speakers

The shape of the ribbon is responsible for the wide horizontal and narrow vertical dispersion pattern.

HT: Samsung PN64H5000 (recommended settings) | NAD T758 V3 | Buchardt S400 (2) | Emotiva E2 (2) | Rythmik Audio F12 (2)

For outdoor speakers make sure you get something with an aluminum grill like the klipsch aw-650.

A steel grill will eventually rust. Plastic will eventually dry out.

I’m using a pair klipsch speakers 20ft in the air and they sound good.

These:

They can be mounted vertically and Triad will custom paint match them for you to match the wall.
