You need an electrician. You can usually find a local one on Craigslist.

Sony STRDH770, Sony UBP-X800, Sony PS3 160

A good electrician will have no problem doing that. I have ran lots of wires into preexisting walls. It is not rocket science.

yep, and this is why I always recommend just using wall-mounted compact bookshelves instead...screw WAF and OCD aesthetics because these will sound much better (unlike in-walls/ceilings they are a snap to swap out if unhappy), cost much less, and you don't have to leave the speakers behind when you move.

~ Are you a "geek hobbyist" obsessed with squeezing out that last 5-10% improvement? The economy will thank you...especially the Chinese one. Or are you more of a get-set-and-forget "casual user" who simply wants to increase your enjoyment of movies, TV and gaming? Relax, HT isn't rocket science, nor does it have to cost an arm and a leg---especially if you ignore the aforementioned vocal minority. And remember to smile...it's just a silly hobby, after all. :)

In my experience, typical line-voltage electricians can do any retro-fit wiring project that you need, but this is not what they do best. They don't have the tools and patience to retrofit wiring in a house without relying upon cutting holes in sheet-rock.

The real experts in this are low-voltage, custom installation people. You would be surprised where wiring can be fished without cutting holes in the sheet-rock.

Make a call to a local home-theater shop. They will have people or know people who can do this type of work for you.

Still got to get a wire to the said wall mounted bookshelf speaker.

True, but the wire can be hidden by using flat wire or a paintable wire raceway.

It's a VIRTUAL channel unless stated otherwise.

Using channel is for a rental property or your garage...

The beauty is not seeing anything exposed.

In my previous business I use to cringe at the wiring jobs (data) my competition got away with just to reduce labor cost.

To each there own I’d say.

Mr. Guy how are you sir?

Zorba where have you been?
