5.2.4 Atmos in my space? Will it work?

I am moving into a new space that has a bonus room. I currently have two Polk Rti A7 (on order) a Csi A6, two Rti A3 and two SVS PB1000s. I had Rti A5 but while selling my last place, the buyers kid damaged them so the buyers gave me $500 for them. I put in an order for Rti A7 for $390 for both, I can still cancel the order. I was also thinking of buying one of the Adorama deals and getting Lsim705, lsim706c and lsim702 fx. With current pricing I can get everything for about $1600. But then thought since I do 90% HT to keep my Rti A7 order and maybe use the money I was going to spend to do atmos. My receiver is a Denon x4000 so that will get upgraded, thinking to try to get a well priced Denon x3500. Long story short, I'd like to do 5.2.4 (so I'd have to buy at least a 2 channel amp). The mains are going on the shorter wall which is about 13 feet long and will have a 120 inch screen in the middle, the couch will be right against the long wall and you can see the window wall is just over 12 feet long. I'm planning on putting the two subs, left, center and right on the 13 foot wall with the screen, but the rears and the atmos I'm unsure. I am thinking of switching the Rti A3 for Fxi a6 and placing them on the back wall or I can keep the Rti A3 and have them to the left and the right of the main listening position. What about atmos, can I do one about half way between the projector screen and the sofa and the other set right against the back wall? Any suggestions would be appreciated, I have until tomorrow to cancel my rti a7 order. I can't move the couch at all off the wall.

For Atmos direct radiating speakers are best for the bed layers but it also calls for the rear Atmos to be behind the couch.

I have a similar issue and cannot do Atmos properly so won't bother to be honest.

Also the Denon 3500 does not do 9 channels though the new 3600 does and the old 4400 and current 4500 do.

For 5.1 the Fxi A6 makes sense but not for Atmos.

Maybe a 5.2.2 setup with the fxi a6s on the back wall? Won't be optimal but better than no atmos at all?

On the denon, thats why I mentioned Id have to get a 2 channel amp.

For 5.2.2 with the Denon 3500 you wouldn't need another amp.

I looked at your layout, and yes, I do believe you could do a 5.x.4 setup in that space. I have a similar setup and was able to mount my rear atmos high up and right on the border between the ceiling and rear wall and configure them as rear heights, and setup the front atmos speakers on the ceiling facing toward the MLP just above and in line with the front mains. For the side surrounds, I wall mounted them and turned them facing toward the MLP (and about 1-2 feet above ear level to ensure clearance) and they did a pretty good job providing surround effects setup in this manner, even with the couch against the wall. My side surrounds are Polk LSiM 703's.

My room, not so pretty, but an example of how 5.3.4 can work in a small space.
