I have a marantz nr1608 amp and looking to buy 5.1 speakers with sub with budget of 3000 usd.

Looking for wall mount small form factor speakers. Any recommendation?

Size of room? Do you need the sub(s) to be small form factor as well?

Here's a preliminary recommendation, assuming you can use two subs and they need to be smallish.
Q Acoustics 3090Ci center channel (190)
Q Acoustics 3020i bookshelfs x 4 (600)
HSU ULS-15 sealed subwoofer x 2 (1700)

When you say small form factor, what are your size limits? H/W/D?
What's your budget?
How big is the room including open areas?

Kef LS50,Q200C, Q100, SVS SB-2000, Denon AVR-X3400H, NAD 216, Panasonic 50" Plasma, Xbox One.
Bedroom: JBL Loft 50 , Loft 20, Bic F-12, Denon AVR-S710W, PS3, 32" Insigna LED.

Both of these have 1/4" screw mounts

NHT super zero x 5

or

Ascend acoustics HTM 200 x 5

sub(s) ULS -15 is excellent, but might be overkill in a small room.

more spendy, but higher performance: 5 x ascend acoustics Sierra luna + a single 400 sub ( Hsu VTF 1 mk 3) .... slightly over budget

refurb KEF LS 50's... no screw mounts... + sub could come in around target budget

Main: Sony XBR75900E, Denon AVR-x4400, Denon POA-5200 (L/R(a) Goldenear supersat 60, (b)FW Boston acoustic Bravo 2. C Goldenear supersat 60C,
SSR DIYSG Volt 6v2. RSS Volt 6, Atmos(.4) Boston acoustics soundware XS
HSU research ULS -15, Episode ES-IW-Dual 8 / Monitor audio IWA 250 amp 2nd Rm: Visio E55, Denon avr730H, Boston Acoustics CR8, cr400 sub.

RSL speakers will wall mount well and have good output ...

https://rslspeakers.com/cg3-overview/

Paradigm has a small speaker that outperforms it's size:

https://www.paradigm.com/en/systems/...aone-50-system

Monitor Audio has been very well reviewed:

https://www.monitoraudio.com/en/prod.../apex-a10av12/

Wall mounting severely limits your options, as most speakers with any bass output will sound boomy. Thus, only small form factor speakers are listed.

It's a VIRTUAL channel unless stated otherwise.

In Singapore look into the Focal Sib Evo 5.1.2 system.

Thank you for the recommendation. I will check if there is a local reseller on these.

I am thinking to go for this https://www.bowerswilkins.com/mini-theater/mt-60d but some said it is very old set... what is your opinion?

Also I am going to replace my old speaker cables for this 5.1 setup. Any recommendation? The cables would be concealed.

Expensive! As to cables, if they are hidden, then use CL2 rated (in-wall) cable.

It's a VIRTUAL channel unless stated otherwise.

did an audition today on mt-60d

Not overly impressive by it and considering it is pretty old model and heavy price tag ...

I am going to check out some other models mentioned on this thread on local audio shop ...

if you have any good recommendation please kindly share it here.

Thanks much

That should be a nice setup, and if used, not that old at all.

All the B&W speakers I bought in the 80s, (7 of them), are in daily use today by family, friends and myself.

the 2 x atmos speakers were unable to install as we were unable to run the cable nicely behind the tv console.

So far I love this set of Focal dome flax 5.1!

Btw the sub air always has a white led light on ... is that on permanently?

Your manual says "yes" so you may want to turn the sub so is not pointing at you or simply cover the light with some black electrical tape.
