Spotted this in the lobby of the convention center. Will have to see what's up with that uh... speaker once the show floor is open. I will demo it, for sure.

Just did the demo. An in-wall that delivers the impact of pro systems.

$20,000 per channel so not cheap!

Saw... Mission Impossible, Alita Battle Angel, Bohemian Rhapsody, a star is Born clips. Super clear, super high impact.

Its a Best of CEDIA 2019

I sure hope that side-by-side air core inductor orientation is part of some kind of infinite slope filter design. Otherwise, we're talking interaction problems. In any event, that pic will sure help me out when someone complains about my use of steel laminate woofer inductors. That's what you get for $20,000 a pop.

We demand to see the measurements! I'd be curious to know whether the measurements are consistent with the subjective quality of the the sound.

The little theater they had setup with the new HDI speakers was very cool. I enjoyed it. Hopefully I will get a chance to listen more. 1st day was pretty crowded.

Those towers with the triple 8's(assuming that is what they are) look very promising.
Curious what CD and wave guide they are using for them...

Actually this design would be much better with an active / DSP crossover.

Seems like a lot of manufacturers are really focusing on putting out products for dedicated home theaters, which is great to see. I noticed B&W and Martin Logan's new products are focused on this...

Being a huge JBL fan, I always look their way....but now there seems to be more options. Just have to see what the pricing ends up being for some of these.

so not only does elac have a new "debut reference" model, but also a new model with a ribbon twitter called "carina". Kinda weird since it looks like they will be closely priced. Carina is $2400 for tower pair https://www.crutchfield.com/p_970FS2...ck.html?tp=185

So Andrew Jones & Company couldn't get any more creative in naming a new speaker than to revive an old KEF speaker name?

Tacky, to say the least.

How/Why did Atlantic Technology win an AVS award? I did not see them in a sound room.

Was it based on an off-site audition or previous review?
