Atlantic Technology Shows New Speakers at CEDIA 2019

Atlantic Technology may not be a household word but the brand has a long history of designing its own speakers and unlike some products at CEDIA, its offerings are available to purchase directly, rather than through the CI channel.

At CEDIA 2019 the company showed a new monster center channel, the 8600ec, designed to go with its flagship tower speakers. It's huge, heavy and features a full D'Apolito array for the mids and highs! Frequency response is both linear and extended with a rating of 50 Hz to 25 kHz +/-2 dB.

Atlantic Technology also well also unveiled a new iteration of its H-PAS speaker design in the form of the AT-3 towers. These 2-way, 6-ohm speakers have a rated response of 41 Hz to 25 kHz +/-2 dB, handle up to 150 watts of power an have a rated sensitivity of 90 dB.

Those are really slick looking and beg to be displayed without the grills on.

My first "real" HT speakers back in 2000 were AT System 350 5.1, those served me long time in 2 homes.

I've know others who had AT speakers, nice to see that huge center channel - MTM up/down not sideways, do they have off axis plots to share?

just sharing old pict, circia 2005, of those AT sys 350's, they were used till 2012, and sold to others.

and it's center

AT speakers are built like tanks honestly. i used my 8200e system from early 2012 till Sept 2019. and i still have them stored in like new condition. they just never stop working. ZERO issues. their customer service is really good too.
