Be sure to get all your cables, wire, b-plugs, etc. from Monoprice or Mediabridge via Amazon, don't get snookered by Monster Cable crap or the like.
Going with Mediabridge on my subwoofer cable and speaker wire and then Monoprice on the banana plugs.

Comes up to $2779 all together with the different blu ray player. Thank you!

Would you recommend going with the Airmotiv A1 Atmos speakers? I have about 100 bucks left over.

If the visual uniformity with the T-Zeros is important to you...otherwise, am not sure you'd be able to HEAR a big difference over the Sonys. Extra money would be best spent on the next level up sub...btw, how big is your space? (Include all adjacent open areas not just the listening area.)

~ Are you a "geek hobbyist" obsessed with squeezing out that last 5-10% improvement? The economy will thank you...especially the Chinese one. Or are you more of a get-set-and-forget "casual user" who simply wants to increase your enjoyment of movies, TV and gaming? Relax, HT isn't rocket science, nor does it have to cost an arm and a leg---especially if you ignore the aforementioned vocal minority. And remember to smile...it's just a silly hobby, after all. :)

I would like to have the visual uniformity and it seems like the sub you suggested will work out just fine.

The living room/theater room is 18 feet from tv wall to back wall and 13.5 feet side to side. There is a partitioned wall that separates the living room from the dining room (which would be to the listener's left) that is about 3.5 feet away from the tv wall and 7 feet long by 6.5 feet tall and the living room is also carpeted. The ceiling is approximately 8 feet tall.

If the "partitioned wall" completely seals off the 18 x 13.5' room from the dining room then yes I'd agree the PB1000 is enough. If it's one of those partition walls that leaves any open gaps between the two rooms, then the sub will interact with the combined rooms, i.e. you have to treat both rooms as one and therefore would likely need a stronger sub if you want to properly pressurize the space.

Oh jeez, that is literally ONE big continuous room then. I would move up to the VTF-2 in that case, $577 shipped...hold off on the Atmos speakers if you have to.

Alright. I'll go ahead and go with that then. I'll drop the A1's and get the Sony Atmos speakers instead. Still comes under $2900.

Be sure to consult the Dolby site for speaker placement recommendations for your chosen set-up. Then, have fun!

It's a VIRTUAL channel unless stated otherwise.

I'm getting all new speaker wire to match my walls as well as the Sony region-free blu ray player and the PS4 Pro. Also getting all of the banana plugs and subwoofer cable as well as a handful of 4k blu rays.
