Updating HT speakers

Looking to replace my current speakers with something that has a better range. The L/C/R micro ti's I'm using drop off at 120Hz, the sub helps out but it still seems as if something is missing. I am looking for suggestions for speakers that would like a fuller range for the L/C/R.

I do have the room for bookshelfs or towers, no preference but I have read towers are preferred because of the range. I have read a lot of posts on here and the usual names come up, Chane, Emotiva, Ascend, KEF, Klipsch and Elac. (there are more but that's probably enough examples) I do not have a brand preference. I went to Best Buy and listened to the Elac debuts and the Klipsch RS and I did not like them enough to buy them.

Current setup;

L/C/R - Anthony Gallo Micro Ti

Sub - SVS PB12-NSD

Rear - Old Infinity sat 750's

Receiver - Denon 3500H

Use - Movies and TV rarely ever used for music.

Room

8' ceiling

19'x20'

Seating distance- 16' from L/C/R

Budget - $1000 for L/C/R. $500 for rear speakers. I know this isn't a very big budget and I may be able to stretch a bit on this.

If I missed any pertinent information I'll try to get the answers. Thanks in advance everyone!

$1500 is ample...I would actually add a second PB12 and then jump on these Infinity Reference speakers ASAP:
https://slickdeals.net/f/13671737-in...?src=frontpage

R263 center, $162
R253 tower, $324/pr
R162 bookshelves (for surrounds), $162/pr

Those are jaw-dropping deals, I'd grab them before they sell out. And you even get free return shipping, just in case.

~ Are you a "geek hobbyist" obsessed with squeezing out that last 5-10% improvement? The economy will thank you...especially the Chinese one. Or are you more of a get-set-and-forget "casual user" who simply wants to increase your enjoyment of movies, TV and gaming? Relax, HT isn't rocket science, nor does it have to cost an arm and a leg---especially if you ignore the aforementioned vocal minority. And remember to smile...it's just a silly hobby, after all. :)

I looked at this exact setup. I also looked at the JBL 590/530 combo since they are on sale as well. The Infinity sale is about half the price for all including the center.

Well, both the JBL and Harman websites offer free return shipping...if you have a strong back!

I think with your space having a second PB12 might be a big plus, so if the lower price of the Infinity speakers makes that more possible, I would go that way.

Between the Infinity's and the JBL's, would the JBL's be the better option?

Hard to say...since your usage is just movies/TV I seriously doubt you'd be able to hear much difference so I'd go for whatever is less expensive which would be the Infinity, esp. if it lets you add a second PB12.
