klipsch Icon VF35 towers?

I found some of these locally for sale. I don't know much about them? Are they a capable speaker for home theater? My receiver is just an Onkyo TX-SR505, so I don't have an excessive amount of power to feed them. They look like they have a high efficiency rating, so that would help me. Thanks.

Vf-36/ vf-35

I have the Klipsch VF-36, which is in the same product line, but with some differences. The RF-35 has two 8" woofers and the RF-36 has three 6.5" woofers, believe the tweeter horn is the same size on both. I have used them front mains on AVR's with the stated 100/ 130 wpc statistics, on both receivers the speakers sounded great. They have good bass if you run them full range, but I run subwoofers so set my crossover at 80Hz.

Klipsch doesn't take a lot of power to drive (at least from what I've experienced and read about) so your receiver should be fine. I'm currently using mine as side surround speakers, maybe not the perfect solution but I wanted to use them somewhere in the system.

Personal opinion here only... good deal.

Klipsch says the vf35 only has 5.5 inch woofers, that’s my biggest reservations about them? If they were 6.5” or larger, I would jump on them.

bummer, I was hoping you were right!

Anyone else with experience with these? I didn't notice before, but the deal has a center listed as well. It's a VC25. I assume that is the same series?

That Klipsch series is decent/nice sounding for movies and music --- it depends on the seller's price ... is there a way you can hear them ... and can work with your receiver

$100 for two towers and a center. I’m not sure if I can hear them or not. I’ve contacted the seller, but haven’t heard back yet.

$100 is all I would pay for the 3 piece set, if they are in good shape -- they are decent/nice, but there are better offerings if the budget was higher
