Which is better speaker positioning : straight vs higher but angled downward?

Speaker = KEF Q350

Which would you choose below, position A or B?

Position A: Speaker is aimed straight but tweeter is above ear level
Position B: Speaker is 3" higher than position A (due to Isoacoustics Aperta speaker stand) but angles downward

Is the speaker on a stand or on a table as in the picture above? If on a stand, I would lean toward Option A. If on a table, Option B.

I would like to know the answer before buying the Aperta stand so I can't really audition it both ways. FYI im in the Philippines and dont have the luxury to buy/test/return items.

Option A = speaker is on a table
Option B = speaker on a speaker stand which is placed on top of a table

I would try to ensure with either option that the speaker is at the edge of the table or can properly clear the table so you don't get any comb filtering type of effect. Also, typically, there is a reasonable amount of vertical dispersion (somewhere around 5-15%) so you don't have to mess with tilting speakers to get a good effect.

As the KEFs don't care if they are on their sides vs standing upright simply place them on a stand on their sides and the speaker should be the perfect height without any angling required.

If you want the tweeters aimed ideally, just put some furniture pads under the rear of the speakers so they are very slightly aimed down. I don’t think you’ll notice a difference though.
