Question Speaker Wars: B&W 800D2 vs Kef Blade 2 vs Focal Sopra N3?

Hey guys!
I am looking at upgrading my system. I am currently running a NAD m12 and m22(8 Ohms 355W)

My listening room is sized at 32 sqm/345 sqf (rectangular shape) super acoustically treated.
Choices by order:

1: B&W 800D2, however will my amps be good enough to power them to make them shine? Is the room too small?
2: Focal Sopra, N3 since I can get these very cheap.
3: Kef Blade, I love but would be the most expensive choice, I would consider them of course if they are clearly the best option.

What I am looking for is amazing sound stage. I have listened to all of these speakers of course and I am in love with them all, yet I did not try them with my amps. Thoughts?

Best,
Arnold

The best thing you could do then is take your amps with you and see how they sound with your amps.

I had a long audition with the Sopra 2, and a short one with the 3. I felt that they did a lot of things right, I’m not sure they did anything wrong. However at the end of the day they just weren’t my flavor. I have not heard the new B&W D3s, have heard all the D2s, mainly with McIntosh and felt each was dreadfully lifeless, dull and boring sounding. So maybe the D3s have improved. I have heard the Blade, heard the Refernece 3, that was one speaker that I really liked. Paired primarily with Wired 4 Sound gear, the Kef system was one where I felt if I was gonna spend $15k on speakers.... those would be one on the short list.

I have not heard the 800 D2's yet but i have heard the 803 d3's and i was really impressed. I am guessing they are far apart from each other in terms of performance from what you're saying then.

Great to know your opinion! Really great information. Thank you

Please audition the Revel Salon 2. I would personally expect them to outperform all these speakers.

Also look at the D&D 8C, I’ve seen several people that prefer those over the Salon 2, and they’re cheaper.

I have heard the bw and focal with mcintosh system and simaudio system. both speakers sounded great with simaudio system. the sopra 3's were louder and more soundstage to be vague. this isnt saying mcintosh system was bad...just I preferred sopra 3 w/simaudio moon....truly my dream system. sopra 3's are lot bigger tho and could block viewing a tv.
