SVS prime center vs ultra bookshelf (x2?) for center channel

If you had a choice between the following for your center channel, which would you use and why?

1) SVS prime center
2) SVS ultra bookshelf
3) SVS ultra bookshelf x2 (wired in series)

Thanks for your expert opinions.

Ultra bookshelf; definitely not two in series.

What is your L/R speakers? Having L/C/R of ultra bookshelves would be quite nice.

Front: Polk S55
Center: Polk S30
Rear: Polk S10
Subs: (2) Rythmik FVX12

The L/R are going to be prime pinnacles.

Don't do that. You'll have acoustic interference, and series connections share power unequally because the speaker impedances are never quite matching.
I'd get the Ultra center actually. Two woofers and the 3-way mid-under-tweet design will avoid "Venetian Blind" dispersion problems. Yes, $200 more than an Ultra bookshelf, but speakers last a long long LONG time so it really makes sense to get the best you can. Actually I'd get Ultra towers and live without a center until I could save up if necessary.

Probably #2 ... but if you are working with a $2300 budget for LCR there are better options IMO outside of SVS, which has lousy bang for the buck compared to their internet-direct competitors.

What sub will you be running?

What % of your usage will be music vs HT/TV/gaming?

Room dimensions (including all adjacent open spaces)?

Distance you'll be sitting from the screen? Preferred loudness levels (average is 60-75db)?

HEOS means a Denon receiver, is that right? Which one?

~ Are you a "geek hobbyist" obsessed with squeezing out that last 5-10% improvement? The economy will thank you...especially the Chinese one. Or are you more of a get-set-and-forget "casual user" who simply wants to increase your enjoyment of movies, TV and gaming? Relax, HT isn't rocket science, nor does it have to cost an arm and a leg---especially if you ignore the aforementioned vocal minority. And remember to smile...it's just a silly hobby, after all. :)
